Build a 15mm lightweight (LWS) rig around your camera with Chrosziel's HD Universal Baseplate Kit. In addition to Chrosziel's HD Universal baseplate, this kit includes a dual-stage matte box and a follow focus with a flex-gear ring. While functional on its own, this rig can serve as a jumping-off point to mounting other optional accessories such as monitors, lens supports, handles, and shoulder mounts, to create your own custom rig that fits your workflow.
Chrosziel MB 450R2 Matte Box

Lightweight, robust, and ready for production, Chrosziel's MB 450R2 Matte Box can complement a wide range of cameras, from smaller camcorders or mirrorless cameras, up to larger cinema cameras and ENG camcorders with an outer lens diameter of up to 114mm (lenses with a diameter smaller than 110mm may require additional accessories for full compatibility). With the included top flag and 16:9 mask, glare from outside the frame can be effectively controlled for improved contrast and reduced ghosting in the recorded image. Further control can be achieved through separately available side and bottom flags.

Insert your favorite filters into the available stages for further creative control. The rear stage accepts 4x4" filters only, while the front stage will accept 4x4 as well as larger 4x5.65" filters. Both stages rotate, enabling the use and control of polarizing as well as graduated filters. For further possibilities, the MB 450R2 can be upgraded in the future with a separately available third rotating filter stage.

To use this matte box on your camera, the camera must be mounted on a separately available 15mm LWS baseplate. Fit the matte box on the rods until it covers the lens front. Rod-mounted matte boxes are preferred over clamp-on matte boxes in many production situations as they are always properly aligned with the image horizon.
Chrosziel Flex-Ring Flexible Step-Down Ring (110 to 75-98mm)

The Chrosziel Flexi-Ring Flexible Step-Down Ring is a 110 to 75-98mm adjustable step-down ring. The ring is designed to work with the MB-450 matte box series and will fit a variety of wide angle attachment lenses.
Compatible with MB-450 matte box system for wide angle attachment lenses between 75-98mm.
Flexible material makes it easily adjustable.
Chrosziel LWS 15 HD Universal Baseplate with 12" Rods

The LWS 15 HD Universal Baseplate with 12" Rods from Chrosziel is a universal 15mm rod support plate featuring a pair of 15mm rod clamps and 12" rods. The plate is adjustable for any camera with an optical height between 26.5 and 72.5mm. Optical height is the distance between lens center and camera bottom. Height is adjusted using the included 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16mm spacer pairs. Also included is a set of screws, a guide with camera height reference marks, and an Allen wrench.
Chrosziel DV StudioRig Follow Focus

Constructed from high-quality materials, Chrosziel's DV StudioRig Follow Focus is built for the professional filmmaker working with DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema cameras. The main body of the DV StudioRig is machined from aluminum and the oversized handwheel rotates smoothly with minimal play in the gearbox. Use the knurled thumbscrew on the sliding rod clamp to secure the DV StudioRig to 15mm LWS rods. Since the rod clamp slides, the DV StudioRig is compatible with many lens diameters, from small DSLR lenses to larger cinema lenses. A white marking disk is included for outlining focus pulls with a dry-erase marker or grease pencil.

In order to be used with a lens, a drive gear must be purchased separately. Drive gears are available in various sizes and tooth spacings to fit ENG and cinema lenses as well as a friction gear for DSLR lenses without teeth. Once you have a gear, it simply snaps into the gearbox and can be easily exchanged. Settable hard stops can be added with the separately available C-206-60 VariLock upgrade kit.
Chrosziel 206-12 Focus Gear Drive (0.8 Gear Pitch)

The Chrosziel 206-12 is a 0.8 gear pitch focus gear drive for Chrosziel's 206-01S follow focus system. It features standard 0.8 pitch gearing for use with cine-style lenses.
Chrosziel Flexi Gear Ring MK II (Single)

The Flexi Gear Ring MK II from Chrosziel is a flexible gear ring adjustable from 60 to 120mm in diameter. The ring features standard 0.8 pitch gearing, allows for approximately 310° of rotation, and can be quickly attached and removed from lenses.
