The sun hood also offers extra protection for your frontlens. In comparison to sun hoods with a bayonet mount, the Caruba HB-45 II is easy and quick to mount to the objective by pressing the two pressure points on the sides of the sun hood.
Attention
This sun hood doesn't fit on the Nikkor AF-S DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR Type II objective. You need the HB-69 for this.
