Caruba Canon EB Eyecup
The Caruba Canon EB Eyecup is a replacement eyecup for your camera. It fits the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, the Canon EOS 60D, the Canon EOS 60Da Astro, the Canon EOS 70D among others. An eyecup closes the gap between your eye and the viewfinder, so no daylight creeps in around the edge while you frame.

Highlights

• Replacement eyecup, model Canon EB
• For the Canon EOS 5D Mark II among others
• Keeps side light out of the viewfinder
• Soft against skin and spectacle lenses
• Slides onto the viewfinder rim of your camera
• Weighs 20 grams

How it works
Without an eyecup, light enters between your brow and the viewfinder. That makes the viewfinder image look flatter and you misjudge exposure. The rubber rim closes that gap.

Comfort
The rim is soft, so you are not pressing your eye socket or your glasses against hard plastic. Over a long session that matters, and it keeps the coating on a spectacle lens from getting scratched.

Replacing
The original eyecup on a camera works itself loose in practice, usually inside a bag. This one slides back onto the same rim, so you do not have to order an original.

Compatibility
The eyecup fits the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, the Canon EOS 60D, the Canon EOS 60Da Astro, the Canon EOS 70D, the Canon EOS 80D. Check the manual of your camera for the matching model.
