Blackmagic HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro touchscreen for recording H.265, ProRes and DNx files in all SD, HD and Ultra HD standards up to 2160p60.
* Includes 10G Ethernet, scopes, internal network storage, 12G-SDI and HDMI connections.
HyperDeck Shuttle is a desktop recorder and player that not only records masters but also plays clips!
The large seek knob is perfect for scrolling through files and finding the clip you want to play.
Depending on the model, it supports ProRes, DNx, H.264 and H.265 files in NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080p and 2160p video standards.
It even has a built in teleprompter!
Some models have 12G-SDI and HDMI connections, so you can connect to both switchers and cameras.
Plus, it records to SD cards, UHS-II cards or USB-C drives.
The HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro model features 10G Ethernet and internal M.2 storage, so you can share files across your local network or record to network storage.
Professional broadcast deck
HyperDeck Shuttle is designed specifically for the desktop, so the front panel is easy to use with just one hand!
The beveled profile lets you leave your hand on the dial and use your fingertips to operate the controls.
The machined metal search dial with natural inertia and a soft-touch rubber coating makes scrolling fast.
It's perfect for searching through a large amount of files for what you need.
The HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro model features a large 7" LCD screen for live monitoring with a heads up display.
It also features extensive menus for managing all of the device's settings, and the rear panel features connections for audio, video and network.
Built-in 7" touch screen
The HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro model features an innovative LCD touch screen interface with interactive control, built-in monitoring and settings management.
The large 7" HDR display features buttons for play, pause and record video, as well as a small playback timeline for navigating clips. It also includes a heads up display so you can see important information at a glance such as timecode, file status, audio meters, touchscreen enabled scopes, focus assist functions and an RGB exposure histogram.
You can also change settings on the HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro using the on-screen menus and even load and save 3D LUTs.
SD and UHS-II Cards
HyperDeck Shuttle works with other HyperDeck models because it supports SD and UHS-II card recording.
SD cards are inexpensive and small, making them a great option for broadcast files.
You can also record to external USB drives that are easy to disconnect and transport.
If you use USB drives, HyperDeck Shuttle lets you record to multiple drives for uninterrupted recording!
In H.264, files are incredibly small, allowing for very long recordings on low-cost cards.
That means you can record up to 157 hours of H.264 footage at 1080p59 on a 1TB card, that's over 6 days of HD!
Record to external USB-C drives
If you need to record to external media, use the USB-C expansion port to connect a flash drive.
USB-C flash drives have unlimited storage because they are physically larger than SD cards and SSDs.
You can also physically move the disk to an editing station, eliminating the need to copy files before post production.
Simply move the disk to your computer and start editing.
By adding Blackmagic MultiDock 10G, which has 4 SSD slots, HyperDeck Shuttle can also work with SSDs!
External disk management options are available in the menu.
ProRes, DNx, H.264 and H.265 industry standard files
HyperDeck Shuttle HD supports the most popular codecs today. You get broadcast quality DNx and ProRes files, and you can save space by saving in H.264 when recording in NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080p and even 1080i interlaced formats.
The HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro model also supports H.265 recording and playback.
With compression ratios from 60:1 to 285:1, you get ultra-small files with true broadcast quality.
You can choose between uncompressed PCM and AAC audio for uploading to YouTube.
HyperDeck Shuttle supports ExFAT formatting on Windows and HFS+ on Mac, so you can open and read your discs on both platforms.
You can even record long events into a single video file!
