Zacuto Z-VCT VCT Universal Baseplate with shoulder pad and 15mm rods

The VCT Universal baseplate is compatible with all cameras including Canon C100, C100 MKII, C300 & C500, Sony F5, FS7 & F55, AJA CION, BlackMagic, EPIC, Arri Alexa, DSLRs, Mirrorless and more. The VCT Universal has a built-in, curved shoulder pad, a v-wedge tripod connector for use with VCT14 tripod adapter plates or 1/4 20 and 3/8 16 screw holes for direct connect to your tripod quick release plate, removable, extendable 6.5 inch iris rods and rows of ¼ 20 screw holes along the sides for accessories. You can add M6 rosettes directly to the front of the baseplate with the VCT Arri M6 Rossette . Alternately the Rosette Minimount can be used to attach rosettes to the 15mm rods.

The lightweight, adjustable rod mount is set far back in the plate, offering plenty of accessory-capable area under the camera lens. This allows you to position your camera further back on the plate, keeping the balance point of your rig directly over your shoulder. The sliding track of the rod riser offers 22mm of vertical adjustment. The riser can also be flipped to offer up to 40mm of adjustment from the lowest point. The shoulder pad portion of the VCT Universal is set as far forward on the plate as possible, also to maximize your accessory capable rod area and aid with balance. Our soft-gel polymer shoulder pad is made up of two differently sized pads to account for the natural slope in shoulders. This stops your camera from rocking and adds stability.

Keeping the camera low prevents already tall cameras from being too top heavy. With our VCT, the distance from the bottom of your camera to your shoulder is just 3/4 inch.
