The Light Storm 1200d Pro is Aputure'sflagship Light Storm Product. Featuring a 1200W COB, the LS 1200d Pro is both the brightest light in the entire Aputure product line, as well as the highest output Bowens Mount light fixture on the market. To optimize its output, the LS 1200d Pro includes three Bowens Mount Hyper Reflectors with varying beam angles: Narrow, Medium, & Wide. With its Narrow Hyper Reflector, the 1200d Pro can achieve an output of 83,100 lux at a distance of 3 meters.
By designing the LS 1200d Pro to utilize the Bowens Mount, The Light Storm flagship can also use a wide array of Bowens Mount soft light modifiers such as Light Domes and Lanterns.
As a professional Light Storm fixture, the LS 1200d Pro utilizes a weather-resistant construction to withstand inclement weather. Its connectivity is also designed with lighting technicians in mind. The 1200d Pro uses Lumenradio CRMX and Art-net & sACN via an etherCON connector, in addition to the 5-Pin DMX512 ports, to seamlessly integrate into any professional DMX interface. The LS 1200d Pro also makes battery operation possible for high output fixtures by integrating two 48V/15A DC inputs for half or full power so that users can operate the 1200d Pro without noisy generators.

The Light Storm 1200d Pro is ideal for filmmakers who need a high-output modifiable light fixture that also features a wide range of control & connectivity options, weather-resistant build quality, and the ability to operate using DC battery power. Redesigned Control Box
As the flagship Light Storm product, the LS 1200d Pro also features a new control box design. The new control box has DMX512 In and Out ports, an industry-standard etherCON connector, two 48V/15A 3-pin XLR Inputs, and an AC Input that are all housed on the side of the fixture in an orientation that maximizes flexibility while minimizing damage. This allows the control box to be positioned upright on its feet, so it can be set down on set seamlessly. The control box also features two Lightning Clamps for different orientations on your light stand.

Power solution
As a 1200W COB LED with a maximum power draw of 1440W, the Light Storm 1200d Pro is high-powered fixture that can compete on the same level as HMIs, while still featuring the ability to be operated using DC battery solutions. The 1200d Pro's control box has two 48V/15A (720W) DC Inputs. Providing power to one input will operate the 1200d Pro at half power, and providing sufficient power to both inputs will operate the fixture at full output. With its 1440W maximum power draw, the LS 1200d Pro can also easily be powered using a Honda 2000W generator compared to comparable HMIs that might overload the system.
