Audio Video Photo Light since 2000
The EOS C300 Mark III will appeal to all types of users with its technology and feature set, as well as its flexibility of use and enhanced customization options. Whether it's fiction, documentary, corporate film or journalism, this camera is sure to meet expectations.
Equipped with the new 4K S35mm sensor technology and a DIGIC DV7 image processor, the EOS C300 Mark III delivers an exceptional high-resolution image with over 16 dynamic range dips.
It also has impressive low-light capabilities, with optimised low noise up to ISO 102,400, where the human eye reaches its limits.
Super 35mm Super 35mm DGO (Dual Gain Output) sensor generating real-time HDR images
The DGO sensor is a newly developed imaging system that offers exceptionally sharp low-light image quality and superb HDR acquisition capabilities.
On the DGO sensor, each pixel reads the image with two different levels of amplification, one high and one low, which are then combined to create a single image. Reading at the higher amplification level is optimized to capture sharp detail in darker areas, while reading at the lower amplification level is optimized to capture detail in brighter areas. Therefore, when combined with pixel-level accuracy, details and quality in both bright and dark areas are maintained and improved. This allows the camera to achieve an impressive wider dynamic range of more than 16 slides.
The new DGO sensor is also compatible with dual-pixel AF technology, giving users greater freedom to achieve the image they want.
The EOS C300 Mark III supports 4K continuous 4K recording at up to 120 fps in Cinema RAW Light and XF-AVC formats. In 2K mode (with cropping), frame rates from 12 to 180 fps can also be set for creative freedom. In addition, a slow/fast button provides quick access to the desired slow/fast setting.
Dual Pixel Focusing Guide
Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus phase difference technology offers an innovative graphic guide that represents the focus shift (front/back focus). The rectangle turns green when the subject is correctly focused, improving ease of use and accuracy when focusing manually, especially for critical 4K focus.
Simply use the touch screen to select an object and track its movement in the frame, making it easy for you.
Combined with Canon's Face Detection Technology, Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus is excellent for automatically recognizing, focusing and tracking a face.<
The EOS C300 Mark III has an electronic image stabilizer integrated into the body, which supports 5-axis correction. Even when the camera is equipped with a lens without electronic communication with the camera, electronic image stabilization is available through manual focal length input.
If a lens supporting data transmission is added, focal length data is automatically received by the digital contacts for shooting with optimized electronic image stabilization.
Shooting with electronic image stabilization is possible even with a lens that does not support data transmission by simply entering the focal length manually. It is also compatible with anamorphic lenses.
Simply select the focal length during shooting to take pictures with an electronic image stabilization effect optimized for the settings.
The EOS C300 Mark III has an advanced 12G-SDI interface offering four times the bandwidth of a 3G-SDI connection, simplifying 4K workflows with 4K 50/60p streaming over a single cable. The HDMI interface can also provide 4K 50/60p streaming on a single cable.
The EOS C300 Mark III is equipped with a robustly designed, electronically controlled, full-format ND filter system that provides a high level of filtering performance.
